Maroons ulet

posted on August 5th, 2005 (08:07 PM) in Hello Goodbye

haven't done my maroons update.  apparently, there's been two games already.  UP vs. ADMU, where UP lost by something (hahaha) and UP vs Adamson, where UP finally broke off it's losing streak and won the game.

game this afternoon will be against FEU.

so, bale, wag na tayong umasa.  there's this 99% chance that FEU will win the game.

need the 1% to keep the hope alive.... no matter how futile. ehehehe... sounds like the line of my life. hahahaha!

post-it 3:

former love of my life dropped by the house last week.  chika lang.  he was in the area raw eh.  hmp. he can always be in the area if he wants to naman eh.  he lives 4 km away. 10 min drive lang ako.  eniweiz, sobrang zilch.  no feelings na whatsoever.  which is kinda funny considering i was head-over-heels into him last year.  you should've seen me.  i was ranting and raving so much about him as i am (was) with ex.  who'd have thought that feelings like that can go away... but there you go.  it was just that the whole 2 or so hours we were talking, i couldn't really remember what i liked about him. hahaha!  sometimes i feel evil.

post-it 4:

watched MUST LOVE DOGS.  it was sooo hilariously funny.  i totally recommend the movie!  i have a feeling i would be Diane Lane's character a few years from now.

post-it 5:

i will not talk about ex.

hahaha!

rules of relationship

posted on August 25th, 2005 (08:56 AM) in Chronicles of a Lost Girl in the Metro

this is kinda cute.  but i didn't include everything.  yung mga tagos lang. hehehe

Relationships 101.

A short course on human relationships and love.

1. if a man/woman wants you, nothing can keep him/her away. if man/woman doesn't want you, nothing can make him/her stay.

--> ambivalence, therefore, is not a sign. tsk, tsk...

2. Stop making excuses for a man/woman and his behavior.

--> this i know i hafta do.  he's an ass. period. no erase.

3. if you have ANY doubt in your mind about a man's/woman's character, leave him/her alone.

--> i don't have any doubts about his character.  i'm pretty sure he's BAAAD.  hehehe

4. allow your intuition to save you from heartache.

--> i know! i am wasting a perfectly good intuition.  it's just so hard to pass up the opportunity to prove to yourself that you're right. nyahaha! is this logic demented or what?!

7. slower is better.

--> oh, yes!  definitely... *wink, wink* hahaha!  well, 'cept when yo're driving.

9. if a relationship ends because the man/woman was not treating you as you deserve then heck no you
can't "be friends." a friend wouldn't mistreat a friend.

--> oo na. sige na.  tanga na ko.  rub it in why don't you?!

11. don't settle.

--> i don't.  i only go for people i like.  it just so happens that i like all the wrong people.

12. if you feel like he/she is stringing you along, then he/she probably is.

--> yep. the intuition is never wrong.

17. there's only one 'reason' a man/woman dumps you; he/she doesn't want you.

--> he must want me then...  karnal!

23. like from the show sex and the city, if the man doesn't call, he just isn't that interested.

--> but what if he doesn't ignore you either?

25. know when to cut the cord, don't be strung along.

--> but i have separation anxiety issues!  it's just too traumatic for me!

35. if you think he/she is cheating, he probably is. confront him/her right away and if you feel he's lying,
let him go.

-->i do this all the time.  and i get a confirmed answer!  i just suck at the letting go part.

53. Dating is fun...even if he/she doesn't turn out to be Mr./Mrs. Right

--> oh yeah. definitely.

59. make him/her miss you sometimes...when a man/woman always know where you are, and you're always readily available to him/her, he/she takes it for granted.

--> i should learn how to do this.  i'm always the first to miss...

69. when it's time to let go; let go.

--> hindi ko nga kaya eh.  ang kulet!  somebody just kill me nalang...

71. don't play games.

--> i can't even if i want to.  i don't know the rules.

75. never date a guy/girl who wears colored contacts. it's just not natural.

--> thank gad my contact lens aren't colored. ehehehe

on hoping

posted on August 28th, 2005 (07:07 AM) in Chronicles of a Lost Girl in the Metro

Hope is a double-edged sword.

            On one side, it inspires us to continue fighting for whatever or whoever we believe in.  On the other side, it hinders us from giving up when we know we should, and from letting go when we know we can't expect anything more.

            When do we give up?  When do we stop waiting?  There’s a fine line to walk between holding on and letting go.  And when we let go, does it automatically mean that we’ve lost hope?
