The Twilight series, what of it

I am finally done with that vampire love story by Stephanie Meyer, and I think the whole audio thing totally ruined it for me, cos I sortof enjoyed Breaking Dawn, which I read.  Main reason I guess would be that when I'm reading, I could skip the annoying parts.  I obviously can't do the same with the audio book.  This is actually the same reason why I don't listen to podcasts nor watch vlogs, they're harder to filter.

By the way, I used the term "enjoyed" very loosely here.  I was curious about the popularity of the thing, but it read like a fairy tale.  An 800 plus pages fairy tale, with a very annoying princess.

Long story short versions

Twilight

HI, I'm Bella Swan.  I'm a high school student who just moved to Forks, WA.  I am very clumsy to the point of disbelief,  and has all the guys after me, including a hunky perfect vampire named Edward Cullen, whom I will describe to you in many great excruciating details throughout the book.  My main problems are I don't know how to say thank you and just let go, instead, I carry on a major guilt complex probably from being born so annoying; and, I watch too many soap operas which makes me choose the most idiotic option possible in any given scenario.

New Moon

The hunky, prefect Edward has left me and because my life revolved around him, I have become a ghost of my former self.  Thankfully another boy, Jacob, came and saved me from the dragons of abandonment.  Unfortunately I am a magnet of the the mythical, and Jacob turns out to be a wolf, who also obviously fell in love with me.  You'd think this period of depression would have given me more character, but no, I am annoying as ever, and possibly more so.  I reunited with my hunky, perfect Edward after saving him from sure death, but because I need a safety net, I never did let Jacob go.

Eclipse

Because of some loose ends in the past, you know the usual, killing a vampire who was trying to kill me who apparently had a lover now hell bent on revenge, the story once again revolved on how I made my two boys fight for me against the evil, evil vampire whose lover my hunky, perfect Edward saved me from.  Again, I still did not loosen my hold over Jacob, who is also in the habit of emotionally blackmailing me fro make out sessions.

Breaking Dawn

Finally, hopefully, the last book on the series where I turned into a vampire after becoming pregnant from all the rough sex on faraway island.  How I'm going to tell my half-vampire daughter that Jacob, who imprinted on her used to do lip locking sessions with me and ogle me from afar, is her partner for life, I have no idea.  Thankfully though, my hunky, perfect Edward slightly developed more character in this story.  And I became more than the perpetual damsel in distress in need of saving, and was actually useful in a fight that did not happen after all that tension.

I hate Bella. Selfish for keeping JAcob & Edward for herself. And I must agree, the princess is annoying.
