Anywhere else but here
posted on January 1st, 2009 (04:51 AM) in Suicide Notes and Butterfly KissessWhenever I close my eyes I see cars crashing. This means time to rest the PSP and stop playing Burnout. Honestly, I'm not very good playing driving games. The normal ones at least. I keep crashing or getting stuck. Summady told me it's painful to watch me playing racing games. I'm not that good with Burnout either, but it gives me points for messing up, so I do better.
I must have been a sucky race car driver in my past life. Prolly died at the ripe old age of 18 for crashing in my first and illegal race. Failed career cut short.
There was a time I thought I prolly died from falling in my past life. My attempt of explaining my mild (let's pretend there's a sort of scale to this) gravitational insecurities.
Morbid thoughts for new year, I know.
So I'll do something new year-ish and check how well i did on my last year's list:
♥ do normal. CHECK! Although, to be honest, I think success was only accidental.
♥ more crazy-wholesome-fun for the year. CHECK! I'm being technical here, I said more. I didn't say ONLY.
♥ more coherence, less randomness. CHECK! In a way, I guess. I mean, everything's all set for my next year.
♥ learn to drive. QUESTION MARK? While I think I've gotten the whole reverse thing and sortof turning pretty ok, I still can't park right, nor do a 180.
♥ no more going beyond my limit in cellphone usage. FAIL! Majorly. There was a time I went up to 4k. Pbfft!
♥ try something new at least each month. FAIL! I totally forgot about this one. But there were the scrapbooking, out of town and out of country trips, blog events, plurk and plurk friends, and weddings that made this year pretty fun.
For this year, I'm limiting my list to three:
♥ Save more, spend less. I have got to learn to handle my finances.
♥ Have normal work hours. Hopefully, new job will get here soon, and I will finally have this.
♥ Learn how to maximize the camera. Seems like a fun hobby to have. And with new place coming up soon, that ought to keep me occupied and not miss everything.
What's on your list?
